    Nature of Requirement:
    Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) personnel for the new Bay Class Search and Rescue (SAR) Lifeboats require crane training that is essential to the operation and control of the hydraulic crane currently
    installed with the Bay Class vessels.This requirement is to offer personnel Palfinger hydraulic crane familiarization and safety training courses as offered by an authorized dealer. This would be a minimum of one-half (1/2) day maintenance and operating training course on an "as and when requested basis. 
    
    Contract Duration:
    The period of the Contract is for from contract award to t March 31st, 2023.  
    The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year period(s), under the same conditions. 
    
    Note to Bidders:
    Bidders must use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information.

    All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than five (5) calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.

    Debriefings:
    Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
    
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
    This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in both official languages.
