MULTIPLE REGIONAL INDIVIDUAL STANDING OFFERS (RISO) FOR THE SERVICES OF RESIDENTIAL EXPERTISE FOR THE SUSTAINABLE BUILDING ENVIRONMENT

DESCRIPTION

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement for up to three Standing Offers each for the following Areas of Expertise:

1. Residential - Field assessment and monitoring of housing energy performance
2. Residential - Windows, Exterior Doors and Fenestrations 
3. Residential - Building Envelope Research and Assessments
4. Residential - High Performance Housing
5. Residential - Energy Advisory Expertise
6. Residential - Photovoltaic System Design Expertise
7. Buildings - Field assessment and monitoring of building energy performance
8. Buildings - Integrated Design Process
9. Buildings - Monitoring of Advanced and Renewable Energy Technologies 
10. Communities - Data Collection & Analysis
11. Communities - Regulatory and Policy Analysis
12. Communities: Low Carbon District and/or Community Energy Systems
13. Active Solar - Next generation building thermal energy storage
14. Active Solar - Solar Thermal and Heat Pump Heating and Cooling R&D
15. Active Solar - Renewable Heating Systems Simulation and Analysis
16. Active Solar - Industry Survey

Offerors are requested to submit a bid to address the requirements outlined in the Request for Standing Offer (RFSO).

Services are required from the date of authorization to use the Standing Offer for a period of three years. Canada may authorize the use of the Standing Offers beyond the initial period, for four additional one year period. Should Canada authorize the use of the Standing Offer beyond its initial period, Canada will calculate an automatic increase of 3% of the most recent all-inclusive rates.

Contracts were awarded ending November 30, 2021 to various companies for a total of $9,000,000. (incl. HST).
