To supply all material, equipment, labour and supervision necessary to remove and dispose of the radioactive sources in a Gammacell 2220 Cobalt 60 research irradiator n accordance with Nuclear Safety and Control Act and associated regulations, for Department of National Defence,  Defence R&D Canada (DRDC), Suffield Research Centre, Ralston, AB., during the period of the contract, from date of contract award to 30 June 2016.

Optional Site Visit 
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Defence R&D Canada, Suffield, Building 1, Ralston, AB on Thursday April 14, 2016. The site visit will begin at 1:00 pm MDT.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 4:00 pm CST April 12, 2016 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
