Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 51019-115002/A dated 2011-09-09. Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) requires the services of one or more licensed medical doctor(s) to perform pension medical examinations and provide medical advisory services to the North Bay District Office. More than one contract may be awarded to ensure the requirements are met. The services will be provided for a period of one year with an irrevocable option to extend the period of the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year option periods. Some of the mandatory criteria are provided below: Must be currently licensed to practice medicine in the province of Ontario; - Must be in good standing with their licensing bodies; Must have at least 2 years clinical experience, within the past five years, in the examination and management of patients experiencing: musculosketal problems, mental health problems, complex/multiple medical problems, geriatric health problems and chronic pain. The security provisions within this requirement are as follows: 1. The Contractor must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). 2. The Contractor personnel requiring access to PROTECTED information, assets or sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC. 3. The Contractor MUST NOT remove any PROTECTED information or assets from the identified work site(s), and the Contractor must ensure that its personnel are made aware of and comply with this restriction. 4. Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be awarded without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
