Nature of Requirements: 

The Department of Agri-Food and Agriculture Canada has a requirement for the supply and delivery of a HPLC Radioisotope Detector to Sandford Street, London ON N5V 4T3 by November 20th, 2016.

The bidder must demonstrate that they meet every mandatory technical evaluation criteria in their bid by submitting supporting documentation. Failure to provide supporting documentation by bid closing date will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.

Some of the criteria include:

1. Must have a flow-through cell that must detect 3H and 14C radiolabeled chemicals in eluent from HPLC.

2. The counting efficiency for 3H must exceed 55% and 90% for 14C as measured with sealed NIST traceable standards.

3. Must use low dead volume fittings, tubing and mixing components to obtain best peak shape and resolution.

All inquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than seven (7) calendar days before the bid closing date. Inquires received after that time may not be answered.
