NPP Amendment No. 001 is raised to extend the closing date of Request for Proposal to December 14, 2017.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) requires the supply, delivery, and support (availability of parts and servicing) of atmospheric pressure sensors for non-aviation meteorological field observations, in accordance with MSC’s technical specifications and user requirements over the next 10 years with the option to purchase additional units.

The MSC requires a continuous supply of sensors that can be procured over an extended period of time (up to 10 years) and must operate at all of ECCC’s data-logger stations. To ensure instrument continuity and data homogeneity, ECCC intends to use the same pressure sensor model throughout the period.

Environment and Climate Change Canada will also require calibration services of newly-purchased pressure sensors. In addition to the normal manufacturer’s calibration certificate, ECCC will require that a portion of each order be calibrated at an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. The Contractor will be required to complete this additional calibration prior to delivery.

The period of the Contract is from Date of Contract Award to March 31, 2027 inclusive.

For Year 1, 20 sensors must be delivered on or before March 31, 2018.

For Year 2 to year 10; if the optional quantities are exercised, the optional quantities must be delivered within four (4) months of notification by the Contracting Authority.

Complete requirements are detailed in the Request for Proposal document.

    Delivery Date: Above-mentioned

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
