    Service Canada, Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Old Age Security (OAS) processing center in Scarborough requires paper file folders for their operations. The Pensions Operations Support Team (POST) will coordinate the logistics of the paper files for the CPP and the OAS Programs. 
    
    The file folders are expected to be used for 30 plus years. A durable reinforced folder that can stand up to a long duration of normal wear and tear is required.
    
    Due to storage constraints at the Scarborough processing center, Service Canada requires multiple file folders deliveries throughout the month. The maximum single order quantity will be 20,000 folders.
    
    The Period of the Contract is from Date of Contract Award to 30 November 2021 with option to extend for 1 additional year period from December 01, 2021 to November 30, 2022.
    
    A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
    The mandatory technical specification of the file folders include, but are not limited to:
    
    1. The folders must have a stock thickness of at minimum 13 pt
    2. Must hold Legal Sized (8 ½” x 14”) documents. The folder must not be larger than 9.6” x 15 ½”(including the end tab).
    3. Have a double ply straight cut end tab on the rear cover facing the user when the folder is rested on its spine.
    
    The Bidder must submit pricing in accordance with Annex B - Basis of Payment, in Canadian Funds.
