    This solicitation amendment 004 is being issued to extend the
    solicitation closing date to December 7th, 2012.
    
    "THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT"
    
    Installation, Maintenance, Repair and Remote Monitoring
    Service(s) 
    
    For the provision of the maintenance and repair service for the
    C•Cure Control Access Security (CAS) system and the Closed
    Circuit Television (CCTV) System for Canada Border Services
    Agency (CBSA) at Pearson International Airport (PIA), Toronto,
    ON. 
    
    For the complete Statement of Work, please see Annex A of the
    Request for Proposal.
    
    The period of the Contract is from date of Contract for a one
    year period inclusive.  The Contractor grants to Canada the
    irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to 2
    additional 1 year period(s) under the same conditions. The
    Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the
    Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable
    provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment.
    
    MANDATORTY SITE VISIT
    
    It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
    Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site
    visit to be held on October 25th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Terminal
    1, Arrival Level, CBSA Information Office.  Bidders must
    communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 1  day
    before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the
    names of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required
    to sign an attendance form. Bidders should confirm in their bids
    that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not
    attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative
    appointment and their bids will be rejected as non-compliant.
    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting
    from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid
    solicitation.
    
    SECURITY REQUIREMENT FOR CANADIAN SUPPLIER:  
    
    1. 	The Contractor must, at all times during the performance of
    the Contract, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening
    (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate
    (CISD),  Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). 
    
    2. 	The Contractor personnel requiring access to PROTECTED
    information, assets or sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a
    valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
    
    3. 	The Contractor MUST NOT remove any PROTECTED information or
    assets from the identified work site(s), and the Contractor must
    ensure that its personnel are made aware of and comply with this
    restriction.
    
    4. 	Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to
    be awarded without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC.
    
    5. 	The Contractor must comply with the provisions of the:
    			
    (a)	Security Requirements Check List, attached at Annex C;
                  (b)          Industrial Security Manual (Latest
    Edition).
