Line 1, Waste Management Services at CFB Borden

The Department of National Defence’s (DND) Real Properties Operations Detachment Borden (RP OPS Det. Borden) has the requirement for the supply all necessary labour, materials, tools, equipment and transportation required for cleaning, inspection and pump out services as detailed in the SOW. The requirement contains a firm portion and Task Authorization portion on an as and when requested basis. The work will include pumping out storm water manholes, catch basins, septic tanks, spreading of sludge, cleaning of grit chambers, cleaning of lift stations, sewage plant maintenance, pumping of underground ablution tanks and a super vac truck for location of broken water mains, sanitary and storm lines.

The period of the Contract is from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2021 with three (3) one-year option to extend the Contract up to an additional three (3) years.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

The Bidder must provide details of two (2) contracts that were similar in scope and size, related to the cleaning and inspection of storm and sanitary sewer line systems, hydro vacuum (super soaker), vacuum truck with their bid at the time of bid closing. The bidder must provide names of contact people complete with phone numbers and/or E-mail addresses for verification of information if required.

The Bidder must submit with its offer - a copy of their licensing number for transporting waste.

The Bidder must submit with its offer - a copy of their dumping Facility, certificate of approval.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
