Borden) is responsible for the cleaning of the interior and exterior of ventilation systems, ductwork, grilles, diffusers, structural beams, ceiling fans and dryer venting in, under or around buildings at CFB Borden. DND requires a Contractor to perform these duties on afirm basis and on an as-and-when required basis. The Contract will be from Contract award until one year later, the Contract will have three (3) one-year option periods. All work will be completed at CFB Borden in Borden, Ontario. (a) The Bidder must provide the following certifications held by the company and its employees: i. WHMIS ii. Man-Lift Operation iii. 3-way Articulating Boom Operation iv. Confined Space v. First Aid vi. Fall Arrest vii. Working at Heights (b) The Bidder must provide in writing a list of five (5) years of experience in Duct Cleaning. Bidder must demonstrate the experience by providing details related to the history and background of the company, with their bid at time of bid closing. (c) The Bidder must provide details of two (2) contracts that are similar in dynamic and size*, related to Duct Cleaning with their bid at time of bid closing. (d) The Bidder must demonstrate that they possess either a truck or trailer mounted vacuum unit, or portable unit with a minimum suction volume of 15,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM) (e) The Bidder must demonstrate that they possess a compressed air unit with a minimum pressure of 200 pounds per square inch (PSI) There is a mandatory site visit associated with this requirement. Consult Part 2 - Bidders Instruction. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
