    RESEARCH SUPPORT FOR COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH (CA), COMMAND AND
    INTELLIGENCE
    
    Within an increasingly complex security environment, Canadian
    Forces (CF) personnel must be able to work effectively as part
    of a team, either in the context of co-ordinated joint
    operations or in collaboration with various government and
    non-government agencies and organizations, international
    organizations, or multinational military forces, embedded in
    diverse social and cultural settings.
    
    To support the CF's ability to work within such complex security
    environment, Defence Research and Development Canada - Toronto
    (DRDC Toronto) has initiated an applied research program focused
    on understanding the social-and organizational-psychological
    aspects of Comprehensive Approach (CA), Command and Intelligence
    also referred to as Joint, Interagency, Multinational, and
    Public (JIMP).  
    
    This requirement is for the provision of research support
    services for behavioural, cognitive, and social sciences
    research in various collaborative and/or adversarial security
    contexts, including operational, tactical, and training
    environments, which also spans strategic and grand strategic
    levels in order to meet the objective of the CA, Command and
    Intelligence research program.
    
    This requirement has Security Requirement and is subject to the
    Controlled Goods Program. 
    
    Work will be performed on as and when requested basis for a
    period of 3 years from date of award.  
    
    Canada will own the Intellectual Property arising from the
    contract.
    
    The estimated level of effort is  $884,000.00 GST/HST extra, as
    applicable, for a period of 3 years.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
