Background
Military Personnel Generation Training Group (MPGTG), located at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden, exists to support the training of support occupations in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). MPGTG also provides support to other units at CFB Borden (lodger units) who are part of the CAF or Department of National Defence (DND) but do not belong to MPGTG.
The Technical Services Branch of CFB Borden, is responsible for providing services to all units at CFB Borden, including those provided by the Telecommunications and Information Services (TIS) section. TIS is responsible, among other things, for the provision of Leased Facilities and Services, including commercial Satellite Television services.

Purpose
The purpose of this contract is to have a contractor provide satellite television services
The Contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and transportation to supply, deliver and install equipment for satellite television services, including channels and programming, for DND, MPGTG, TIS at CFB Borden, Borden, Ontario Canada

The period of the Contract is for 2 years from date of Contract award inclusive.

Optional Site Visit

It is recommended that the Bidder ora representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at CFB Borden, 247 Cambrai Rd. Borden, Ontario 
On 24th August 2016. The site visit will begin at 11:00 am.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 23rd August 2016 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
