The Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Forces Base (CFB)Borden, Borden, Ontario requires a contractor to supply all labour and materials to do water sample testing of potable water and non-potable water, recreational swimming pool water, and hot tub water at CFB Borden.
The contractor must analyze and report results of the potable and non-potable water, recreational swimming pool water and hot tub water at (DND), (CFB) Borden, Ontario.
Water must be tested in accordance with Ontario Health requirements. In addition to the 27 weekly samples, as per Canadian Drinking Water Quality Guidelines (CDWQG) and Ontario Drinking Water Standard (ODWS), additional samples will be sent quarterly for testing for Nitrites/Nitrates, Chlorites/Chlorates, THMS, and HAAs and semi-annually for testing of Organics/ lnorganics.  Annual testing will occur for Lead, Radionuclides and PFC's.
The Laboratory must be registered with the Standards Council of Canada, and must provide their Accreditation Number showing their registration and/or CALA accreditation.
Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on 19 January 2017, at 10:00 am, Contracts Conference Room, Room 234, 16 Ramillies Road (P-154), CFB Borden, Borden, Ontario).
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority one (1) day(s) before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who willattend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting fromthe site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
