SHEET METAL SERVICES

The Department of National Defence, CFB Borden, Borden, Ontario
has a requirement for the establishment of a Regional Individual
Standing Offer (RISO) for the provision of all skilled licensed
labour, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, and
supply of all material required to carry out all facets of sheet
metal work, including the new installation of or modification to
existing window/door flashing, repair to canopies and hoods,
soffit and facia work, counter tops/back splashes,
guards/barriers and miscellaneous requirements not associated
with HVAC installations, in accordance with the specifications
attached as Annex A of the Request for Standing Offer (RFSO). 
The services are to be provided on an "as and when requested"
basis during the period of the Standing Offer in various
buildings at CFB Borden.

The period of the Standing Offer will be for 2 years from date
of issuance (estimated to be 1 September 2012) to 31 August 2014.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).  

The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and/or services.

Optional Site Visit:  It is recommended that the Bidder or a
representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements
have been made for a tour of the work site.  The site visit 
will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.  Bidders
will meet at the Department of National Defence, CFB Borden,
Building P-154, 2nd Floor Room 234, 16 Ramillies Rd, Borden,
Ontario L0M 1C0.   Bidders are requested to communicate with the
Contracting Authority two (2) day(s) before the scheduled visit
to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s)
who will attend.

The estimated expenditure for the 2 year period is approximately
$200,000.00 taxes extra.

regarding  this requirement.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
