Playground Inspection and Repairs

The Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Forces Base (CFB), in Borden, Ontario has a requirement for Playground Inspections and Repairs. This includes a firm requirement and ‘as and when required’ services. The period is for 2 years plus 3 one-year options.

The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian services.

This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically.  

The Bidder must demonstrate in its bid that the proposed resource who will perform the work described in Annex A Statement of Work is a Certified Playground Inspector in the Province of Ontario.  

Bidder must provide proof of the proposed resource's valid Playground Safety Inspector Certification issued by a credible organization such as the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) or Ontario Parks Association.   

Should Bidder fail to provide proof of the proposed resource's certification in its bid submission, the bid will be deemed non-responsive.  

Basis of Selection
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
