    Fisheries and Oceans Canada has a requirement to supply and deliver various steel hardware to   Parksville, Richmond, and Port Edward, inBritish Columbia on an as-and-when-requested basis.
    
    Materials used must be new. Items manufactured or fabricated from scrap st
    eel of unknown chemical or physical properties shall not be acceptable.
    
    Machine bolts and washers must conform to the standard for General Purpose Structural Steel of the CAN/CSA-G40.21-M87.
    
    Galvanized Hardware must conform to ASTM A153. 
    
    Galvanized Hardware includes all Hex Bolts, Lag Bolts, Nails, Nuts and Washers. 
    
    Must be Galvanized to 610g/m2 (2oz/ft2) 
    
    All Galvanized Hardware must be Grade A307 or better. 
    
    All Washers must be round.
    
    All Hex Bolts must be National Course Thread.
    
    All Hex Bolts greater than 6” long must have minimum 6” of thread.
    
    All Hex Bolts less than 6” long must have full thread.
    
    All Strapping and Buckles must be Stainless Grade 316 or better.
    
    The period of the Standing Offer will be for two years with a one year optional extension period.  
    
    Orders must be delivered no later than 4 weeks of the call-up date.
