The Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) owns and operates a
network of 28 Weather Radars across Canada. Within MSC, the
National Radar Program (NRP) is mandated to maintain and deliver
this service, and by routine site inspections/measurements,
verify this equipment is functional and calibrated.

A Power meter unit (Consist of a Power Meter and a Power Sensor)
is an instrument which measures the electrical power at
microwave frequencies. NRP uses Power meter units to measure the
RF power level at multiple points to verify and calibrate the
system. It is one of the essential tools for the Radar network.

MSC has a requirement to purchase Dual Channel Power Meter Units
for use in the NRP network. A Power Meter Unit will be required
for each site plus additional units purchased for sparing
    purposes and to permit calibration.
