REQUIREMENT
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has a requirement to supply, deliver, and support 7 card printers with the option to purchase an additional 5 printers during the life of the contract. The card printers will be used to print membership cards with security features for CBSA Trusted Traveler Programs, including Commercial Driver Registration Pro-gram (CDRP), Pilot Project for Travelers in Remote Areas in Quebec (PPTRAQ) and potentially future bi-lateral and Mutual Third Party Programs. 

Physical Testing:
Note that prior to printer acceptance and contract award, CBSA will require the proposed bidder to provide 2 card printers and consumables, for testing to ensure that the printers meet all the mandatory requirements. The physical testing will take place at CBSA in the National Capital Region (NCR). 

Delivery requirement for initial 7 printers: 4 weeks from contract award 

Delivery Destination: All deliverables will be shipped to one CBSA location in the NCR but the printers may be deployed elsewhere. 

Contract period: 60 months from contract award.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
