The PWGSC Vancouver office provides procurement services to the
public in English.

Requirement
This requirement is for the procurement of scanners for the
digitization of textual private and government archival
documents for Library and Archives Canada (LAC).  The initial 4
scanners must be delivered within 30 days after contract award.
There is an option to purchase additional twenty (20) scanners
before March 31, 2019.  Delivery must be completed within 30
days after purchase.

There is also an irrevocable option to purchase the extended
hardware maintenance service for the scanners for 2 one-year
periods.

Evaluation Methodology
Bidders must comply with all of the requirements of the bid and
will be required to meet or exceed a set of minimum mandatory
specifications to be declared responsive.  The responsive bid
with the Lowest Total Evaluated Cost will be recommended for
award of the contract.

Security
There is no security requirement associated with this
requirement.

Trade Agreements
This requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Agreement on Internal
Trade (AIT), Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA),
Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement(CPFTA) and the Canada-Colombia
Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
