    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT
    ------------------------------------------------------

This requirement is divided into two service requirements:

    - The first requirement is for the provision of general
LANDSCAPING SERVICES on an "as and when requested basis" using a
Task Authorization (TA) to the Department of National Defence
(DND), Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Esquimalt, Victoria, BC,
    Canada.

    - The second requirement is for the provision of TREE TRIMMING
SERVICES on an "as and when requested basis" using a Task
Authorization (TA) to the Department of National Defence,
Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Esquimalt, Victoria, BC, Canada.

The period of the contract will be for two (2) years from the
date of award with the irrevocable option to extend the term of
the contract by two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each
    under the same conditions.

The estimated yearly expenses including the Applicable Taxes are
    as follows:
    - Landscaping services: $42,000.00 CAD
    - Tree Trimming Services: $42,000.00 CAD

The minimum amount of guaranteed work for each requirement is
10% of the above estimated yearly expenses.

Bidders may bid on only one (1) or both service requirements.
Bids will be evaluated separately for each service requirement.
The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price on an
aggregate basis for each service requirement will be
recommended for award of a contract. Canada intends to issue
only one (1) contract per service requirement. A contract may
combine both service requirements in the event the same bidder
is recommended for award of contracts for both service
    requirements.

Bidders must provide a list of names, or other related
information as needed, pursuant to section 01 of Standard
    Instructions 2003.

For services requirements, Bidders in receipt of a pension or a
lump sum payment must provide the required information as
detailed in article 3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation.

There is a SECURITY REQUIREMENT associated with this
requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 -
Security, Financial and Other Requirements, and Part 7 -
Resulting Contract Clauses. Bidders should consult the "Security
