    The Department of National Defence (DND) requires instructors to
    conduct and supervise mountain bike training, one two-day trip,
    and three five-day overnight trips in the Yukon Territory for
    youths aged 12 to 18 years.  All activities will occur between 7
    July 2015 and 8 August 2015.
    
    The Contractor will be required to provide instruction,
    supervision, technical expertise, navigation in mountain biking
    and camping in accordance with the solicitation document.
    
    The training sessions and trips will take place in and around
    the following locations and along the following routes:
    •	Whitehorse Cadet Training Centre (WCTC)
    •	Mary Lake
    •	Marsh Lake to Kookatsoon Lake to WCTC
    •	Lapie Canyon Campground to Teslin River along South Canol Trail
    
    The period of the Contract is from June 5, 2015 to June 4, 2016.
     
    
    The contract includes the irrevocable option to extend the term
    of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods
    under the same conditions (option year 1: June 5, 2016 to June
    4, 2017; option year 2: June 5, 2017 to June 4, 2018).
    
    All instructors must have valid Vulnerable Sector Screening
    (working with youth aged 12-18 yrs) and Police Records Check.
    
    All instructors must have experience and qualifications in
    mountain biking or outdoor guiding.  
    
    A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation
    and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be
    declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest
    evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.

    As per the Integrity Provisions under section 01 of Standard
    Instructions 2003 and 2004, bidders must provide a list of all
    owners and/or Directors and other associated information as
    required. Refer to section 4.21 of the Supply Manual for
    additional information on the Integrity Provisions.
    
    For services requirements, Bidders must provide the required
    information as detailed in article 2.3 of Part 2 of the bid
    solicitation, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies
    and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants.
    
    The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods
    and/or services.
    
    This procurement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land
    Claims Agreements:
    •	Ta'an Kawch'an Council Final Agreement;
    •	Kwanlin Dun First Nations Final Agreement; 
    •	Carcross/Tagish First Nation Final Agreement;
    •	Teslin Tlingit Council Final Agreement.
