Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: If 3+ bids offer Canadian goods/services other bids will not be considered Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: Yes Nature of Requirements: CANOE & KAYAK - CADETS - WHITEHORSE (YUKON) W4295-15C003/A Kobenter, Hélène Telephone No. - (250) 363-3404 ( ) Fax No. - (250) 363-3344 The Department of National Defence requires equipment and instructors to conduct and supervise training for tandem canoe, voyageur canoe, and various self-propelled watercraft, and one two-day trip, and three five-day overnight trips in tandem canoes for youths aged 12 to 18 years. All activities will occur between 8 July 2015 and 13 August 2015 in the Yukon Territory. The Contractor will be required to provide instruction, supervision, technical expertise, navigation, and some equipment in order to conduct training activity in accordance with the solicitation. The training sessions and trips will take place in and around the following locations and along the following routes: • Schwatka Lake • Mary Lake • Marsh Lake, from Tagish to Army Beach • Kusawa Lake Campground to Burma Road along Kuswawa Lake and the Takhini and Yukon Rivers The period of the Contract is from June 5, 2015 to June 4, 2016. The contract will include the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods under the same conditions (option year 1: June 5, 2016 to June 4, 2017; option year 2: June 5, 2017 to June 4, 2018). The Contractor must provide and transport equipment as detailed in the solicitation: • Voyageur Canoes and associated equipment for voyageur canoes. • Up to 17 tandem canoes, Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs), and associated equipment. • Self-propelled watercraft and associated equipment for watercraft activity. All instructors must have valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (working with youth aged 12-18 yrs) and Police Records Check. All instructors must hold valid certifications in accordance with the requirements contained in the solicitation. As per the Integrity Provisions under section 01 of Standard Instructions 2003 and 2004, bidders must provide a list of all owners and/or Directors and other associated information as required. Refer to section 4.21 of the Supply Manual for additional information on the Integrity Provisions. For services requirements, Bidders must provide the required information as detailed in article 2.3 of Part 2 of the bid solicitation, in order to comply with Treasury Board policies and directives on contracts awarded to former public servants. The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services. This procurement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements: • Ta'an Kawch'an Council Final Agreement; • Kwanlin Dun First nations Final Agreement; • Carcross/Tagish First Nation Final Agreement; • Champagne and Aishihik First Nations Final Agreement ******************************* It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure all addenda issued prior to solicitation closing have been obtained and addressed in the submitted bid.
