Parks Canada has a requirement for the provision of complete
camp management services (including meal provision). Pacific Rim
National Park Reserve (PRNPR) plans to conduct an extensive
boardwalk refurbishment program in the summer/fall of 2015 on
the West Coast Trail Unit (WCT). To enable this, a crew
comprised of 12 local First Nations members will be hired and
work out of a tent camp which can be moved to strategic
locations. The crew will work 10 hour days on an 8 day in 6 days
off schedule. The first 2015 shift will start approximately July
30th and the last shift will end approximately Oct 29th (with
possibility for extension if weather permits). Actual
requirement will be submitted using a Task Authorization. It
will be an alcohol, drug and pet-free camp, including Contract
Personnel (who will be removed at Contractor's expense if a
    violation occurs).
The contractor will provide sleeping arrangements for 12 (the
crew) and food provisions for up to 14 to accommodate regular
visits by Parks Canada staff (at an agreed upon flat rate for
each meal). Prior notice will be given where possible for Parks
    Canada visits.
The contractor must provide all labour, supervision, food
services including food supplies, materials, equipment and all
other costs to complete the work, including but not limited to
transportation of Contractor supplied materials and equipment.
The period of the contract is for 2 years from date of award
with the irrevocable option to extend the term of the contract
by up to one (1) additional one (1) year period under the same
    conditions.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
    Internal Trade (AIT).
The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods
    and/or services.
