Heavy Equipment Operator and Mechanic

Environment and Climate Change Canada requires the services of a Contractor to provide Building and Facility Maintenance at the Eureka Weather Station in Eureka, Nunavut, on a scheduled and as and when requested basis.The period of the Contract is from date of award to April 30, 2021 inclusive with Canada retaining an irrevocable option to extend the contract for an additional two (2) consecutive one (1) year periods. 

There are security requirements associated with this requirement. 

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.

This procurement is subject to the Agreement Between the Inuit of the Nunavut Settlement Area and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada.

This bid solicitation is to establish a contract with task authorizations (TA) for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation, including areas subject to Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements.

The Federal Contractors Program (FCP) for employment equity applies to this procurement.

The Phased Bid Compliance Process applies to this requirement.

Work shall be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work (attached herein as Annex A).
