Requirement:

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada requires the
supply, delivery and installation of one (1) Floor Model
Ultracentrifuge.  Delivery is to Fisheries and Oceans Canada,
Winnipeg, Manitoba on or before January 31, 2013.  The floor
model ultcentrifuge must be compatible with existing Sorvall
rotors present at the Freshwater Institute.

The equipment is a preparative ultracentrifuge which is a
centrifuge that spins rotors at very high velocities under
vacuum and at a constant temperature.  These instruments are
used in the separation and/or purification of sub-microscopic
particles such as cellular organelles and viruses.  .

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
