RISO - SNOW REMOVAL - DND 

The Department of National Defence requires a Regional Standing
Offer (RISO) for the furnishing of all labour, materials, tools,
equipment, supervision and transportation required for the
removal of snow from the various DND locations in Yellowknife
NWT.

WORK INCLUDES:
Snow clearing and removal on an "as and when required":

.1	To clear snow in areas specified.
.2	To remove ice in areas specified.
.3	Piling and disposal of snow and ice as specified.
.4	Apply sand and salt as required.
.5	Provide one annual (spring time) power sweeping and debris
removal of parking 		areas.
.6	Reposition parking bumpers to correct locations after
spring-time melt.
.7	Repair in spring, with topsoil and sod, damaged grassed areas
caused by winter 		snow removal equipment.

TRADE AGREEMENTS
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).

This procurement is subject to the Tlicho Land Claims Agreement,
Chapter 26 - Economic Measures.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
