Task-Based Informatics Professional Services (TBIPS) Requirement

This requirement is for the Department of National Defence (DND) 

This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement
Holders who qualified under which Tier 2 stream for Project
Management Services. 

DND has a requirement for resources in the following Resource
Categories and levels in the National Capital Region (NCR). This
requirement is open only to those invited TBIPS Supply
Arrangement Holders who qualified under the categories for:

 P.7 Project Coordinator -Level 3
P.7 Project Coordinator -Level 2
P.9 Project Manager -Level 3 
P.9 Project Manager -Level 2
P.10 Project Scheduler -Level 2

Description of the requirement:

DND's Military Personnel Management Capability Transformation
(MPMCT) Project requires Task-Based Informatics Professional
Services (TBIPS) to provide a board range of administrative and
management expertise in support of activities undertaken or
approved by the MPMCT Project Manager (PM). These services will
be initiated through Task Authorization (TA)s, on an "as and
when requested" basis.

The Contractor will have to provide various qualified
professional services required to support the business
transformation objectives of the MPMCT Project, above mentioned.
The Contractor resources must work as members of a
multi-disciplinary team of IM/IT professionals comprised of DND
staff (CAF Members and DND Employees), and a Business
Transformation and Technology Implementer, focusing on the
execution of the project management activities for the MPMCT
Project.  These activities include but are not limited to:
planning, scheduling,  document management, project management
tools and processes, cost control, preparation of submission
documents, risk and issue management.

Proposed period of contract:

It is intended to result in the award of 1 contract for 1 year,
plus 4 one-year irrevocable options allowing Canada to extend
the terms of the contract.
