Needs:
The Department of Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement for a Contractor to design and provide specifications/drawings for a work boat measuring up to but no more than 5 Gross Registered Tons (GRT) in accordance with Annex A -Statement of Work. 

Objective:
To acquire a design, specification and drawings for a vessel that will meet the work requirements set out in the Statement of work to replace the current workboat (M.V. Esquimalt II) at the Esquimalt Graving Dock (EGD)which has reached the end of its serviceable life. Also to provide Consultant services during the Solicitation period for the vessel and the resultant construction project.

Deliverable schedule:
1) Draft General Arrangement drawings for review by Technical Authority - 3 weeks after contract award.
2) Complete draft drawing package for review - 6 weeks after contract award.
3) Draft Construction Specification for review - 8 weeks after contract award.
4) Final drawings and specification package and class ``A estimate - 10 weeks after Contract award.

Delivery Date: Above-mentioned

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
