Requirement: 

The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) requires a Contractor to carry out the alongside vessel hull cleaning including propeller and appendages with a hull internal and external hull thickness measurement for the Canadian Coast Guard Ship CCGS Bartlett.  

The Contracting Authority may exercise the option at any time before the expiry of the Contract by sending a written notice to the Contractor.

It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all addenda issued prior to solicitation closing have been obtained and addressed in the submitted bid. 

Bidders intending to submit bids should obtain solicitation documents from the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS) at https://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/tenders. Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS.  Bidders basing their submissions on solicitation documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk.

Work must commence and be completed as follows:

Commence:   24 February, 2020;
Complete:   28 February, 2020.

Sourcing Strategy:
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Western Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy,  and is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement. 

This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
