Landfill Dozer

Submissions clearly marked "COR6777 - Landfill Dozer", in the header line, will be received by the City of Regina, via email at procurement@regina.ca, no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

The City is looking to obtain multi-year pricing for supply and delivery of three (3) landfill dozers, with a Service Maintenance Agreement. One (1) dozer in 2024, and up to another one (1) each for 2025, and 2026.

Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:

•Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement

•Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement

•Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement

There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.

Additional Information

The City operates a major sanitary landfill. The input of refuse varies from a low 550 tons per day throughout the winter to a high of 2,380 tons per day during the summer season. On average, residential refuse accounts for 30% of the daily tonnage while commercial and industrial waste including dirt, concrete and asphalt makes up to 70% of the waste input.

The crawler dozers play a key role in the material handling operations of the landfill both in terms of routine site management and also as a duty mandated provincial legislation. City operated dozers are expected to perform in all weather conditions with season extremes ranging from -40º Celsius to + 40º Celsius.
