Description
Submissions clearly marked "RFP Submission - 200031826 - Bone Density Procedures", in the subject line, will be received by the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), via email at SHABidSubmission@saskhealthauthority.ca, no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking proposals for two (2) third party partners ("Proponents") to provide Bone Mineral Densitometry scans. The SHA is seeking at least one (1) partner in each of Saskatoon and Regina. The contract will be an initial term of three (3) years and upon expiry of the first term, the SHA will have the option to extend the contract an additional two (2), one (1) year extensions each.
The provision of these services will assist the SHA in meeting its goal of ensuring that every patient who requires these procedures receives care within sixty (60) days of the request for the procedure being received.
Third party providers will need to demonstrate that they can provide high quality services that ensure patient safety, and accessibility. Proponents will also need to demonstrate a commitment to cultural safety for all patients and patient families as described in the Request for Proposals ("RFP").
Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:
•Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
•Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
•Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 60 month(s).
