Shared Services Canada’s Networks and Security Services Branch is responsible for the planning, design, and operations of the Government of Canada (GC) Information Technology (IT) network infrastructure; and the management of cyber and IT security services that protects GC data and technology assets.
Monitoring and managing Government of Canada networking infrastructure is key to anticipating network service interruptions, decreasing incident response times, and increasing network security. NSSB is seeking to implement a standardized set of tools within SSC networks to allow operations teams to monitor and manage network infrastructure from a centralized environment.
The information obtained through such tools will help SSC and partner organizations make informed decisions to optimize network environments throughout the country.
The requirement is to provide SSC with a highly scalable software solution providing the following key capabilities:
The solution will be used in conjunction with other components to establish a standardized monitoring toolset to be ultimately deployed across all SSC partner networks over multiple years.
1. Estimated quantity of commodity: to be determined
2. Duration of contract: 8 years + 2 one year option periods
3. Time frame of delivery: initial delivery before March 31, 2023
4. Conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none
