The Electron Microscopy Facility at the CFIA’s National Center for Foreign Animal Diseases in Winnipeg requires a Carbon Coater with Glow Discharge. The ability to provide reliable diagnostic services is a fundamental part of insuring animal health for Canada and requires the use of hydrophilic, stable carbon coated electron microscopy grids which requires a carbon coater with a glow discharge capability. The EM facility is in a shared space located in a secure, level three biocontainment area (CL3).
