This posting is a Request for Information that will be used to develop the contracts required for the Domestic Arctic Mobility Enhancement (DAME) project.
The objective of this project is to obtain a medium size, high mobility, amphibious fleet of vehicles that will provide the mobility, sustainment and communications required by forces employed in support of Domestic Operations (Major Air Disaster, Presence Operations, Humanitarian Operations, Disaster Relief, Whole of Government Operations, Search and Rescue). In particular, DAME fleet will provide a key, unique ground support capability for operations conducted in Northern Canada and the Arctic.
The Nunavut Land Claims Agreement (NLCA), Inuvialuit Final Agreement (IFA) and Gwich’in Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement are likely to apply to this requirement.
