23145-230639 Pacific Forestry Centre Elevator Modernization

Work of this contract is for the modernization of one hydraulic elevator at the Pacific Forestry Centre, Victoria, B.C., V8Z 1M5 Project Scope1. Provide all engineering, shop drawings, materials, shipping, and methods for the modernization of the one elevator and all related work. 2. Provide all labour, permits and costs for provincial elevator acceptance inspections and design submissions covering the elevator modernization work as specified. 3. Provide all subcontractors necessary to complete the elevator modernization, including related work. It is the intent of these specifications to have a single Contract with Owner and the Contractor shall subcontract out the work necessary to complete the modernization project. 4. The Contractor shall ensure that all subcontractors are coordinated and cooperate with each other to ensure the work is completed efficiently and the workmanship is satisfactory at completion. 5. The base bid price shall include for all coordination between related trades and provision of access to the elevator hoistway, pit, and machine room, as necessary to complete the related work.
