    Description
    PWGSC requires a contractor to assist with soil remediation in Whitehorse, YT. The project is located at the Whitehorse Airport Land Treatment Facility (LTF) in the southern portion of the Whitehorse Airport property in Whitehorse, Yukon.
    The work covered in this tender includes primary tasks such as stripping previously bioremediated soil from within three land treatment facility cells, disposing of the environmental liner, and backfilling and leveling the cells using bioremedi-ated stockpiled soil and material from the cell berms. Secondary tasks involve mobilization, site preparations, safety measures, and site access restrictions. After decommissioning, the site will be rough graded and undergo project clo-sure.
    The contractor must have experience with handling potentially contaminated materials and follow specialized procedures for material handling, safety, and environmental protection as outlined in the mandatory requirements and project tender documents. Site Work must be completed by December 22, 2023 with final completion set for February 16, 2024.
