Summary: Environment and Climate Change Canada’s (ECCC) National Hydrological Services (NHS) has the requirement for supply and delivery of hardware for two (2) Direct Readout Ground Stations (DRGS), located at ECCC sites in North Bay, Ontario, and Stony Plain, Alberta. These are specialized commercial-off-the-shelf components, previously demonstrated and proven to receive, demodulate, parse and transfer National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) environmental data. ECCC retains the irrevocable option to authorize installation of the DRGS, supply and configuration of software, provision of training services, provision of preventative maintenance services and supply and delivery of extended software support periods as part of the Contract.
