Water resistant fiberglass building panels SIP
FLEX Structure® (“FS”), incorporated 5 years ago, is an innovative engineering & design company based in Kelowna, BC. FS has conducted R & D & has the patent pending Structural Modular Building Panel, a three-component SIP which consists of an insulating EPS core, fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) face-sheets and pultruded FRP with graphene edge profiles for structural strength as well as interlocking with other panels. All the components are bond by a cold press to seal the unit from the elements. It significantly improves on traditional building materials & construction methods with respect to embodied carbon & ease of use as unskilled labour can quickly install the panels. Compatible with current building materials & uses composites that are resilient to fire, water, mould, pests & other climate change challenges. The building panels can incorporate solar panels & other innovations. Manufacturing is scalable & can be replicated reducing transportation costs.
