1 Street SE Streetscape and Underpass Public Realm Improvements

This RFP/Tender/RFQ/RFSO/RFPQ is open to all interested vendors. The City Requires a Prime Consultant (The Consultant) to assemble and lead a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of the 1 Street SE Streetscape and Underpass Public Realm Improvements Project. The Consultant team will provide expertise that includes but is not limited to the disciplines of landscape architecture, urban design, architecture, transportation planning, civil engineering, lighting design, cost analysis and other engineering disciplines as required (electrical, structural, geotechnical). This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. The Expiry Date for the Agreement will be upon The City’s acceptance of completion of the initial Phase, or any subsequent Phase for which a Scope and Fee Schedule has been signed, The parties intend for this Agreement to encompass the following project Phases: Phase 1 – Master Plan of Streetscape and Underpass (11 Avenue SE north to Bow River) Phase 2 – Design Development + Detailed Design Phase 3 – IFT, Construction and Contract Administration Future potential scope, pending funding and approvals includes: Phase 4 – Master Plan Update, Design Development + Detailed Design of Beltline Area (11 Avenue SE south to Elbow River) Phase 5 – Construction and Contract Administration (Beltline Area)
