1. Open or Prequalification: Open or Invitational Competitive Opportunity Open This RFP is open to all interested vendors. 2. Description of Procurement The City is seeking proposals from research and advisory service providers specializing in business technology. The City would like to assess the Information Technology (IT) research market to ensure its purchase of research and advisory services are aligned with its business needs. 3. Free Trade Requirement Paragraph (Binding or Non-binding) This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. Agreement Term Unless specified otherwise elsewhere in the Information Table under Agreement(s), Terms, Renewal and Proof of Concept (PoC), it is The City’s intention to enter into an Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The Agreement may include a PoC for a period to be specified in the Information Table. The term of the Agreement will be for initial term of one (1) year and may be renewed for up to four (4) times for two (2) years each time. Other agreement(s) related to the use or maintenance and support of any of the Deliverables may also be negotiated and executed
