Southeast Substation Safety Enhancement Project

ENMAX Power Corporation is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to: • Construct a new building (MV AIS and Protection & Control Building) to house new MV AIS, substation protection and control, SCADA, telecommunication equipment, and all other associated equipment on the existing site enclosed by the existing fence, • Conflict relocation to accommodate the new MV switchgear building and outgoing distribution feeders, • Coordinate installation of new 15kV class arc-resistant air-insulated switchgear (“AIS”), • Re-terminate six 13.8kV distribution feeders at No. 32 Substation, • Installation and modification of all substation protection and control, SCADA, telecommunication, and associated equipment, • Decommission and demolish the existing control building, • Decommission and salvage the existing medium-voltage outdoor switchgear, and • Reclamation of the work site. This RFP may result in a single-scope contract for the Work described.
