Description
The Abbotsford Recreation Centre, located at 2499 McMillan Rd, Abbotsford, features an indoor swimming pool, ice rink, a gymnasium and exercise facilities. The Swimming pool natatorium is supplied by a single air-handling unit that has reached the end of its useful service life. A new air handling unit has been specified to provide the short term air handling requirements of the pool area, and to prepare the way for additional energy management facility improvements in the future.
The City invites interested experienced and qualified Proponents to submit a proposals for professional and reliable Removal, Supply & Replacement and Reintegration of a 27,000 CFM Natatorium Air-Handling Unit at the Abbotsford Recreation Center.
The successful Proponent will complete the scope defined in the attached design drawings and specifications by Prism Engineering and Lange Engineering.
The Services generally include, but are not limited to:

The Services generally include, but are not limited to:
- Removing the existing air handling unit,
- Supplying a new air-handling unit,
- Modifying the unit mounting frame to support the new unit,
- Installing the new unit,
- Modifying the electrical, plumbing and ductwork to fully connect the new unit to existing building systems,
- Integrating the unit with the existing building DDC controls and commissioning the unit.
