Description
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the City of Abbotsford (the “City”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for King Rd/Lefeuvre Rd – Traffic Signal, Intersection Improvements & Huntingdon/Townline - Rural Overhead Flashing Beacon - Engineering Consulting Services as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The Traffic Signals and Overhead Flashing Beacons project seeks to address existing and future potential traffic safety and operational issues and opportunities at various locations across the City through the addition of traffic signals and overhead flashing beacons. The intent for this assignment is to deliver improvements to multiple locations administered under the same design and construction inspection services contract. The assignment generally entails preliminary design, detail design, contract administration, and construction inspection services of the proposed works.
