Supply of Water Meters and Meter Reading Equipment

Notice is hereby given by the City of Nanaimo (City) of its intent to direct award a contract to:KTI LTD33 Isaacson CrescentAurora, Ontario L4G 0A4
Contract Scope of Services:Supply and delivery of water meters and water meter reading technology including electronic registers and smart points, and incidentals required to install such items. The City oversees a water distribution system which includes water meters to measure flow of water for accurate billing.The City has been a consumer of Sensus Water Meter Readers and Water Meters for at least 42 years. The City currently has an inventory of approximately 31,800 operational Sensus water meters. This represents a significant existing infrastructure investment cost. Annually, the City bills for over $24M of water revenue each year.   KTI LTD is the current provider of Sensus products in British Columbia, Canada.
