Description
The Northeast Caribou Team is looking for a Prime Contractor to aid the team in delivering restoration activities. This contractor will be responsible for ensuring restoration activities are completed by soliciting restoration contracts on behalf of the Provincial Government and will monitor the contracts to ensure works are being completed as per the prescription standards. The Provincial government will provide the prime contractor with priority areas for restoration as well as prescriptions for the high priority areas. The prime contractor will provide status updates to the government on a regular basis. The Provincial government will ensure all engagement with stakeholders is complete. The contractor may have to develop site plans to aid in the government in acquiring permits required to complete the work on the ground.
The contractor will also be responsible for developing prescriptions in high priority areas identified by the province.
Once this opportunity closes, there will be a quick turn around to have the successful contractor in place to start work quickly. anticipated timeline as follows: close July 12, 2023, review bids - July 13-14, 2023, inform successful and unsuccessful bidders July 17-18, kick-off meeting July 20th.
The contractor will also be responsible for developing prescriptions in high priority areas identified by the province.
