Description
Vancouver Island Regional Library wishes to replace the original roof top mechanical units at VIRL’s Nanaimo Harbourfront Branch. The purpose of this Bid is to select a Contractor to perform Work to complete the project located at 90 Commercial Street, Nanaimo, B.C. (the “Place of the Work”), including all labour, materials, equipment, and testing, in accordance with the terms and conditions as set out in the Contract Documents.
A mandatory pre-tender site meeting is scheduled as follows:
Meeting Place: 90 Commercial Street, Nanaimo
Meeting Date: May 1, 2024
Meeting Start Time: 10:15 AM sharp to approximately 11:15 AM
**All contractors acting as prime contractors to attend along with their crane subcontractors. Discussion about craning access will take place and be a critical part of the planning process. Craning to be coordinated with the City of Nanaimo and accommodate restrictions associated with Diana Krall Square weight restrictions.
