Description
The BC Together for Wildlife strategy commits to five goals and 24 actions to achieve the vision “Wildlife and their habitats thrive, are resilient, and support and enrich the lives of all British Columbians”. Goal 1 focuses on all British Columbians having a voice in wildlife stewardship. Under Goal 1, Action 2 commits to the establishment of Regional Wildlife Advisory Committees (RWAC). The intent is to create or expand existing RWACs to represent a variety of perspectives and provide opportunities for collaboration to improve wildlife stewardship.
This RFP is seeking engagement and facilitation expertise and services to assist in the development of multiple RWACs in the Thompson-Okanagan, Kootenay-Boundary, and Cariboo Natural Resource regions (South Area). The structure and pace of advancement of the Regional Wildlife Advisory Committees will vary depending on regional context and will be confirmed in phase 1. At minimum, the Kootenay-Boundary region will require the services of all phases.
