BCNET is providing potential procurement opportunity with early notice on the following forthcoming scheduled project for advertising on BCBid.

- By centralizing a multi-tenant firewall service within BCNET, economies of scale are achieved when using the shared infrastructure. This will reduce the costs incurred by each member, and by extension, the costs incurred by the sector.
- As member’s firewall infrastructure reaches its end-of-life, the Service will provide a turnkey solution to lower the barrier to change whilst lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO) than replacing their on-premises solution.
- Simplify the onboarding of members, reduce complexity, and provide a high level of support to the participating members through a consolidated service;
- Continued access to the latest and leading Managed Firewall innovations and technologies.
