Addendum No.1 - April 22, 2024
The purpose of this Request for Pricing (RFP) is to seek a qualified contractor for parking lot construction works in accordance with The Village of Burns Lake municipal standards, MMCD Specifications and general good construction practice. The intent of this RFP is to identify interested and eligible contractors to provide pricing for some or all of the works as outlined within Appendix 2 – Schedule of Quantities and Prices.
The scope of work for the Firehall Parking Lot 2024 project is expected to include the items listed in Appendix 2 – Schedule of Quantities and Prices. The intent is to construct a well-graded, smooth parking surface that freely sheet-drains to the northwest ravine area. Be advised the Village of Burns Lake has a defined budget that must not be exceeded. As such, any item may be increased, decreased or removed in its entirety at the discretion of the Village of Burns Lake. For example, a contractor may be chosen to complete all work except asphalt paving and the Village may complete this under a separate project. The requested date for completion of works is September 1st, 2024.

- Appendix 4 - Experience of Superintendent
- Appendix 5 – Comparable Work Experience
- Appendix 6 – Subcontractors (as applicable).
Submissions must be received no later than 2:00pm, May 9, 2024.
