Description
This project is implemented by the Cariboo-Chilcotin Natural Resource District and is funded by the Wildfire Risk Reduction program through BC Wildfire Service. This area was identified, and priority set, within the Williams Lake and Area Community Wildfire Protection Plan.
The contract is set to start Fall 2022 to complete Treatment Units A, B, B-Rip., with the possibility of extension to complete the remaining treatment units in the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 fiscal year.
